Against a background the color of the muddy Río Grande, the artist has floated dark angular shapes from which emerge images of firearms, soldiers at checkpoints, roadside crosses and currency. Text blocks spell out phrases such as "Barbedwire Babies," "Somebody's Pistol" and "B-L-O-O-D."
